Hi my name is Kylie and I have two children both now at Ettalong Public School.
I started attending P&C meetings in 2020 when my oldest started Kindergarten. I didn't intend on taking on any major roles I just wanted to meet people because we had moved to the area only 6 months prior.
One thing I quickly learnt was the the EPS P&C was thin on the ground. So I leaned in, helped where I could and here we are in 2023 and I am the President.
As a group we greatly appreciate the incredible work being done by our school and teachers and we have a shared interest in being active, engaged, and supportive participants in our school's journey.
We believe our collective actions can help bolster a thriving and nurturing ecosystem where our children can blossom and flourish. Ettalong P&C represents a dedicated group of parents and carers who have come together to advocate for the broader interests of our school community.

Stay informed
We know that you're busy trying to keep on top of everything, because we are too. Our 3 main forums for communicating are the weekly schoolhome, the EPS Parents Facebook page, the EPS Facebook page and the P&C website. This is where we will share information on upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
Volunteer
Volunteering is the NUMBER 1 way you can support EPS and the P&C. Volunteer a day a term in the canteen. Volunteer an hr a week in the uniform shop. Volunteer at any of our usual school events such as the Mothers Day Stall or the during a school disco. Volunteer to be a class parent.
You can volunteer at regular intervals or occasionally and you don’t need to be a P&C Member to volunteer!

P&C Monthly meetings
We have regular meetings which provide a platform to discuss current agenda topics and raise any important issues that you believe should be addressed. Your participation and input are valuable, and membership is not mandatory to join these discussions.
