WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY?
Who: All current Ettalong Public School students will be eligible to run. There is no registration fee and no minimum amount to fundraise. BUT a permission note must be signed. Keep an eye out on Sentral
What: It's a very colourful fun run....but that's trademarked.....so Rainbow Run it is!
When: Friday 17th November (exact timings will be announced later)
Where: At the School
Why: Most importantly we want to have FUN!!!!
But we will also be fundraising to help our school. The last time we ran a similar event we raised $38,000 - so we want to try to beat this target!
Funds raised will be going directly back to the school over the next 12 months.
THE RAINBOW RUN
THE RAINBOW RUN
Is a fun run where children will complete a lap of an obstacle course that will include stations where they will be puffed by colour powder and stations that are inflatable obstacles.
The powder is 98% cornstarch and 2% permitted colour.
The powder will likely temporality stain clothing but not skin. If you have concerns (or a dance comp the next day) just ensure the powder is removed from the skin as soon as the race is finished.

Orders are now closed for our limited edition Rainbow Run T-Shirts. There will be a very limited number of shirts available to purchase on the day. Otherwise children should wear a white shirt.
Each student will get Sunglasses and a headband to protect eyes.
There will be an option for a colour free run for anyone who may have sensory needs or just doesn't want to be covered in colour powder.
Families will be welcome on the day. Come and to volunteer.
We have organised dance2befit to come and run the day there will be a DJ and giant inflatables today is about FUN.
A parents run will occur. $25pp entry fee applies. This is a Parents and adult supporters, young children are not permitted to run.
So many prizes! Top individual fundraisers, top class fundraisers, lucky door prizes, prizes for anyone who raises more than $150 (prizes to be announced soon here)

We are collecting electronic fundraising through Square and cash.
This is a fun run where the student with the help of parents, ask friends and family to sponsor them.
There are fundraising forms for each class with class QR codes for electronic payment. This is to help us track class totals. You will need to add the student name in the notes. This is to track the individual totals.
Cash donations can be banked directly at Bendigo Bank, Ettalong Beach. BUT you need to know the account details

If fundraising cash amounts need to come to the school with the parent or child please don't wait until the end. Bring it in regularly, with the sponsorship form filled in and attached, and take to the office. This way students aren't carrying in bulk amounts of cash. The office or teachers can give out new sponsorship forms or download one from our forms page
Fundraising forms will be due Friday 24 November and fundraising links will be closed on the same day. But don't wait to the end bring it in when you are ready.
How do I know who's donated to my child? Unfortunately we do not have the resources to provide this information for each child.
